WORLD ROSARY DAY

The 2024 World Rosary Day concluded its first edition, circling around the globe in the 24 hours of October 7th, feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.
Starting with the Marian Shrine of Pukekaraka in the Maori Kingdom (New Zealand) and travelling Westbound, the Rosary was recited in thousands of prayer locations inside 71 Nations and the five continents, attended by millions of people, touching four International Sanctuaries and the Basilica of S. Mary Major in Rome, and finally ending its journey in New Caledonia.
We heartfully thank all of you and will soon provide images, videos and messages, as we are now receiving them by the hundreds.

Dear Participants,
the 2024 World Rosary Day concluded its first edition, circling around the globe in the 24 hours of October 7th, feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.
Starting with the Marian Shrine of Pukekaraka, Ōtaki, Aotearoa in the Maori Kingdom (New Zealand) and travelling Westbound, the Rosary was recited in thousands of prayer locations inside 71 Nations and the five continents, by millions of believers, touching four International Sanctuaries, and finally ending its journey in New Caledonia.
We heartfully thank all of you for participating in this choral prayer celebration, and will soon start sharing splendid images and videos from different parts of the world, as we are now receiving them by the hundreds.
As many of you have asked if there would be another edition, given the huge and joyous reception, the answer is a resounding yes.

“I would greatly desire that we devote 2024, the year preceding the Jubilee event, to a great “symphony” of prayer. I ask the Blessed Virgin Mary to accompany the Church on the journey of preparation for the grace-filled event of the Jubilee.”
“In questo tempo di preparazione, fin da ora mi rallegra pensare che si potrà dedicare l’anno precedente l’evento giubilare, il 2024, a una grande “sinfonia” di preghiera. Chiedo alla Vergine Maria di accompagnare la Chiesa nel cammino di preparazione all’evento di grazia del Giubileo.”
“Je me réjouis dès à présent de penser que l’année précédant l’événement jubilaire, 2024, pourra être consacrée à une grande “symphonie” de prière. Je demande à la Vierge Marie d’accompagner l’Église sur le chemin de la préparation à l’événement de grâce du Jubilé.”
“En este tiempo de preparación, me alegra pensar que el año 2024, que precede al acontecimiento del Jubileo, pueda dedicarse a una gran “sinfonía” de oración. Pido a la Virgen María que acompañe a la Iglesia en el camino de preparación al acontecimiento de gracia del Jubileo.”
Each Year
On the 7th of October ,
the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary,
we invite Catholic Organizations, Confraternities and Prayers groups to come together at 7 pm (local time zone) to pray at least five decades of the Holy Rosary.
Beginning in New Zealand , crossing all Time zone at 7:00 pm
Prayers will gather in Rome at Santa Maria Maggiore (7:00 pm local Time)
This worldwide act of prayer will be a sign of hope to all nations, as we gather in prayerful preparation for the Church’s ‘Jubilee of Hope’ in 2025; and as we pray for peace among nations.
Please join us in this Global Rosary at 7 pm in your local time.
