Dear brothers and sisters in Christ;
I bring you greetings of peace from The International Sanctuary of Jesus the Saviour and Mother Mary ELele, Nigeria. We are glad to identify with and join the universal Church to observe the WORLD ROSARY DAY 2024 on the 7th October 2024. This is in line with the request of the Holy Father that Christians should observe this year as a year of prayer in preparation for the great Jubilee Year, 2025.
I have a deep devotion to Mother Mary and I have inculcated this spirituality in all the priests, religious and lay faithful who come to the Sanctuary every day. This is why we recite the Holy Rosary every day in the Sanctuary and it has become an integral part of the pilgrimage experience in the Sanctuary since its inception in 1984.
Our Mother Mary also takes us very seriously in this Sanctuary. She makes our prayers efficacious, which explains why testimonies abound in the Sanctuary. On the 7th September, 1996, it pleased our Mother Mary to appear openly in the Sanctuary, after spending 2:30 mins with me in my private office.
Therefore, as the Rector, I am pleased to confirm, that we will fully join you in prayer on WORLD ROSARY DAY, by 7pm (Nigerian Time)
on the 7th of October, 2024
