Dear Participants to the World Rosary Day,
We are happy to announce
that nearly 900 registrations have so far been received by a variety of
ecclesial entities, such as Confraternities, Sanctuaries, Dioceses, Parishes,
Monasteries, Religious Orders, Associations, Prayer Groups, and even
Catholic Universities and Hospitals, coming from 71 Nations around the
world.
Several of the registrations represent dozens, hundreds and even thousands
of affiliated entities, each with individual members ranging from a hundred to
hundreds of thousands; therefore the total number of persons praying the
Rosary for the Jubilee and for Peace tomorrow, both intentions requested by
the Holy Father, can be counted in the many millions.
Clearly, humanity feels the need to pray in this difficult times, and there
appears to be a celestial “invisible hand” that has facilitated the spreading of
news about this common prayer, despite our limited resources and time.
Therefore we can expect that our plea will be heard and accepted.
We would like to thank each of you individually, and although this may not be
entirely possible, we will try our best to do so in the coming weeks and
months. Meanwhile, please do send us images, stories, posters, videos, that we may share with you, and also use to create a documentary of this intense religious event.
